The Lucky Bee

New York is home to a plethora of excellent restaurants, bars, and cafes, but sifting through them to find that one spot worth spending an evening can be tedious. Luckily, new locations open up almost daily. Case in point: The Lucky Bee. A new bar/restaurant run by two Australian guys that specializes in Thai food (the dumplings are a standout), and a mix of delicious cocktails. Five of those are special ‘Karma’ cocktails, containing local New York honey (in a heart warming twist, $1 from each Karma cocktail goes to the New York Bee Keeper’s Association).

You’ll find all of this tucked into an intimate, neon-pink space bedecked with hanging plants and tropical flowers, and  plenty of kitschy elements. A little piece of Thailand, on the Lower East Side.
